Wednesday on the Picca-chilly Line to Kings Cross.

Talk about nippy, my train was freezing today. My usual over ground was cancelled so I had to get the Underground. Were the tunnels sub zero degrees or what, brrrr!
People on the underground are hard to draw, if they aren't standing in the isles blocking my view, they are trying to stare me out. But thank goodness an important trait of the Rat Race Stalker is perseverance....

Everyone has the Cob on, onboard the 9:27 to Kings Cross....

....Oh dear Post Bank Holiday Monday blues - on the up side, it does make it a four day week.
He would rather be in Ikea on a bank holiday Monday than be on this train to work

Feeling well and truly mash up!

Ahh-herm, hands where we can see them, thanks very much

Wishing he was still at Carnival

Friday's fine filly's on board the 8:02 to Kings Cross...

If apparently it is a man's world it really would be nothing without a woman or a girl - especially for this ol' boy, talk about cat who got the cream - there was so much totty on board, his eyes were on overdrive!

That page did not turn for the whole journey.

"Why do I feel like someone is undressing me with their eyes?"

"Anyone ever told that dude it's rude to stare!"

"I for one love a Sugar Daddy!"

She's jotting some digits down, but not for you mate!

Wednesday 17 August 2011

"The Rebel's with a cause!" Onboard the 8:02 to Kings Cross

A bit more normality today as decent, defiant Rat Racers travel into their wonderful capital, reflecting on the mindless events of the past week....

Engrosed in her 'Mad Max' paperback

Gracious, polite and respectful  (and he looks like Dennis Nordon)

Now then, don't let the Elmo tshirt fool you - this guy is about 6 foot 7 inches and built like Conan the Barbarian!

HOOD RATS DON'T MESS - a seriously hard ex sas soldier ready to kick off if you provoke him!

Wednesday 10 August 2011

Who's who Wednesday on the 9:02 to Kings Cross

I wasn't going to let my blunt, one inch pencil stop me from drawing, especially with such great Rat Racers this morning. With such great characters it got me thinking, who are you Rat Racers? What do you do? Where are you going?....

Retired Home Economics Teacher off to meet her friend at The Wallace Collection

Hedge Fund Accountant with a burning ambition of appearing in Mama Mia in a Broadway production

Senior Analyst at Lloyds Insurance (first stop today is a sneaky coffee with his fancy piece, hence the smart Burberry tie and everyone choking on his cologne.)

Zoo Keeper by day, Paul McCartney (in Wings) impersonator by night

Monday 8 August 2011

The Rat Race weekend exodous on the 8:47 to East Bourne via Polegate....

Well and truly stuffed after a maccy d's cheese and egg bagel and a bite of a hash brown, two visits to the bog costing me 30p a go, I was now ready to draw....

Thirsty Thursday on the 9:04 to Kings Cross

I bottled it today, only managed one. If I'm honest this humidity doesn't bode too well with me.
Rat Race, don't fret, I'll be back in full stalker mode tomorrow ....

Wednesday 3 August 2011

Testosterone overload on the 8:02 to Kings Cross

Scratching balls, macho swaggers, hairy chests and nose picking.....yep you got it, today it's all about the fellas!
(just for the record I'm not generalising here, I'm merely referring to the boys on my carriage, I know you don't all guff in public and dig up your nostrils as if seraching for gold.)

Hot 'n' sticky

 Lazza (a young Larry Hagman)

Tuesday 2 August 2011

Some of us Rat Racers don't get out of bed for less than $10,000....

Oh no you di'nt!

Cob on!

Monday 1 August 2011

Monday morning at the Hard Rock Carriage, London

My imagination was running wild with me this morning and I couldn't help thinking that the Rat Racers on my train could have been right caners, in their youth. Especially within the music scene, in a band maybe....
